Once down the rabbit hole things just get curiouser and curiouser.

Electric Playhouse has teamed up with acclaimed pastry chef Keris Kuwana for an Alice in Wonderland-themed high tea experience. Housed inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, Teatime in Wonderland combines Kuwana’s creative bites with projection mapping and motion-activated imagery to create a multisensory environment where the floors and tables come to life—essentially plopping guests into a live version of Lewis Carroll’s quirky novel complete with costumed characters.

Each dish reflects the magic of Alice’s adventures, providing a feast for both the eyes and the palate. During dinner, Kuwana—as well as the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit—will guide guests through an imagination-fueled journey and a feast featuring an array of fine English teas paired with finger sandwiches and devilish desserts.

Wondering about the menu? As Alice asks in the book, “I suppose I ought to eat or drink something or other; but the great question is ‘What?’” Well, here’s your answer.

Guests will “take some tea” from a menu that boasts Earl Grey, ginger peach and blackberry sage black teas as well as a jasmine green tea. Sandwiches consist of roast beef with horseradish aioli, cucumber with chives, and salmon with dill, capers and tomato. A selection of scones, red velvet cake and sugar cookies highlight the dessert portion of the high tea experience.

For those not familiar with Kuwana, she’s appeared on Food Network’s Chopped–Gold Medal Games: Baking and has worked in multiple Michelin-starred restaurants (Alan Wong’s in Honolulu, Alex Stratta’s spot at Wynn Las Vegas and Charlie Palmer Steak).

The program is overseen by Electric Playhouse’s culinary director Vivian Sorenson, a veteran food television producer and director who is already brainstorming the venue’s next themed storytelling experience.

Teatime in Wonderland will run through November, playing out every Friday through Sunday from 1 to 3pm. Tickets ($100 for adults and $75 for children 12 and under) must be purchased in advance. Electric Playhouse is a family-friendly immersive entertainment complex located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
