It’s (almost) Bo Time!

Las Vegas is just about four months away from getting its first Bojangles restaurant, which will open in the southwest valley at Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard. That means Las Vegans will be getting their first taste of the chain’s addictive crispy fried chicken, buttery biscuits (that take 49 steps to make) and legendary sweet tea steeped the old fashioned way. The menu will also boast all those biscuit breakfast sandwiches Southerners rave about.

At a recent groundbreaking for the first of the 20 Bojangles restaurants coming to Las Vegas, CEO Jose Armario reminded the small crowd that everything is made from scratch. “We don’t have a microwave in our restaurant folks,” he said.

Bojangles was founded in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina. There are now more than 800 restaurants in soon-to-be 18 states—once it opens in Nevada.

“We have a very devoted fan base throughout the entire country. Many of them were thrilled when we announced that we were heading west and coming to Las Vegas,” Armario said. “This is an incredible opportunity to share Bojangles with a new community. Everyone deserves Bojangles in their life. Las Vegas has been missing out. They shouldn’t be tortured any longer.”

The first Bojangles in Las Vegas will be located at 9210 South Rainbow Boulevard. It’s expected to open by the end of the year.
