Is it too early to be thinking about pool season? We don’t think so and neither does the Tao Group, who just announced they’re rebranding their popular Wet Republic into a new beach club run by a company founded by Kygo and the DJ’s manager, Myles Shear.

Palm Tree Crew, which has put on music festivals in the Hamptons, Aspen and Lake Tahoe and also recently renovated a 115-room hotel and restaurant on Biscayne Bay, is set to make further inroads in the entertainment arena when it enters Las Vegas with its partnership with the Tao Group and MGM Grand.

According to the release, Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand is set to debut in May 2025 as a tropical oasis with chart-topping performers (although it’s too early to know exactly who). The expectation is there will be many more live performances incorporated into the weekend DJ lineup.

The 60,000-square-foot pool complex is expected to have a more Caribbean feel than its former incarnation. While they’re adding a ground-level stage, the footprint with its salt water pools, 12 bungalows and 10 cabanas, will largely remain the same. The space holds 3,000 guests.

Tao Group’s Jason Strauss says the upgrades are meant to bring “a new boutique, festival-style experience to the Las Vegas market for the first time.”

More information and artist schedules will be released on PalmTreeBeachClub.com.
