This new boutique hotel, directly across Harmon Avenue from the Hard Rock, is the latest player in Vegas’s burgeoning trend for smaller hotels. Located three blocks from the Strip, Rumor is ideally positioned for visitors looking to avoid the mayhem of larger properties but wanting to stay close to the action. The all-suite rooms are done out in bold colors: reds, blues, purples, with ultra-comfy furniture, flatscreen TVs, and soaking tubs. The on-site restaurant, Addiction, serves a varied menu from polenta to pulled pork, and is also highly affordable. Rumor also boasts a decent pool area, with DJs spinning some nights.
