Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is a prime example of a Vegas hotel where there is almost too much to say about it re: ‘extras’ for the family. So here are a few of the headlines: three huge and beautiful swimming pools (two all-ages, one adults-only) with a ‘beach’ made from real sand; a lazy river and a wave pool; the Shark Reef Aquarium; a Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show and the Michelob ULTRA arena. And that’s just some of them. Basics like a family-friendly restaurant and extra cots/beds are also provided but those considerations kind of pale in comparison to a massive aquarium, no? Adults-wise, there’s a world-class spa to check out.
Mood? Go big or go home (only don’t, because there’s so much to do here).
Location perks? The resort has its own 11-acre beach.
Budget range? Marginally less than you’d expect.
