As one of the first Spanish tapas and wine bars in KL, La Bodega has served many a bottle of wine to go with their range of traditional and contemporary tapas. With interesting settings and décor that make AD Bar look like something out of a medieval town, a night here is bound to be a fun one. If you don’t already know Coley, here’s a quick intro – cosy neighbourhood bar; award-winning bar (it was among Asia’s Best Bars in 2018); founded by renowned Malaysian bartender CK Kho; take on contemporary twists on traditional classics; delicious, complex and well-balanced cocktails that keep the crowds coming back. Order from the Koktel menu for drinks with familiar local ingredients like assam boi or air mata kuching.
Be transported into another universe as you step into Knowhere Bangsar with the ceiling webbed with fairy lights and mystical-themed walls hand-painted by local artists. Customers can pick from an extensive menu of spirits, whiskey, imported wines to enjoyable cocktails infused with local flavours such as jackfruit, lychee and pandan.
Meaning “The Cellar” in French, the interior is reminiscent of one, with shelves of wines on display for you to choose from. They carry an extensive range of French wines, with more than 250 labels available. Also do not miss out on their refreshing cocktails, created by their in-house mixologist.
Folio Bangsar


This cosy space at the corner of APW pays homage to the former printing factory with drinks named after print terms like Magazine, Impression and Intaglio. Folio’s casual surrounds are a great space to spend time with friends, complete with rattan chairs and green plants scattered around. Drinks come by way of mocktails, cocktails and low-alcohol options.
Here’s a perfect sundown spot overlooking the city skyline, Mantra Bar KL. A rooftop bar featuring a modern-tropical lounge and an alfresco dining deck with couches, day beds and private cabanas. Mantra offers both classic cocktails and innovative creation fusing local flavours, herbs and spices with their infused spirits, syrups and foams.
Decked out in warm, earthy tones and pretty murals, Mercat transports guests into the heart of Barcelona with its welcoming ambiance. They offer a huge array of Spanish gin & tonic, along with fun concoctions like the Cortado, Ambar Green, and The Journey.
Pacific Standard

Located on the buzzing street of Telawi, The Social Bangsar is a great spot where the corporate crowd lets their hair down and the young urbanites hang out. From premium whiskies and spirits to sweet cocktails and mojitos, they offer an impressive selection of drinks; something for every preference.
Hidden behind a barbershop in Bangsar Shopping Centre, this cosy speakeasy has gorgeous emerald and gold accents on the inside. Drinks here have Asian and Oriental influences, with some containing ingredients like Pei Pa Koa and chrysanthemum-infused gin.
Rock Bottom


Rock Bottom Bangsar is a bold combination of sports bar plus gig space plus pub rolled into one comprehensive concept in the heart of Bangsar. There are rock band performances, European and North Indian food, and a slew of cocktail and liquor promotions. Every Monday, head over for Quiz Nights.
