Materials:

-Yellow, black and red water-activated face paint

-1 round paint/makeup brush

-1 makeup sponge

-1 detail paint/makeup brush or eyeliner

-water to wet paint cakes/clean brushes

Step 1: Apply yellow face paint with sponge around the nose, upper lip and in two streaks out from the inner brow.

Step 2: Apply red with a round brush above and below the eyes and on the outer cheeks and chin.

Step 3: Using the flattened tip of the round brush, add white in small outward strokes to the brow and the outside of the yellow streaks. Then, with yellow, make scales using the same technique around the cheeks and on the upper lip.

Step 4: Use a round brush with black face paint to mark the outside of each nostril, then use black face paint or eyeliner to outline the entire mask.

-Yellow, pink, purple, green and white water-activated face paint

-1 blunt, round-tip paint/makeup brush

-1 small detail paint/makeup brush

Step 1: Using the sponge, apply yellow makeup in a petal shape from above and below the eye out to the side of the face.

Step 2: Using the sponge, apply pink makeup inside the yellow lines from above and below the eye out to the side of the face.

Step 3: With the round brush, add a flower to forehead in pink and yellow, then add two green V's to either side. Dot the outer edge of the pink and yellow lines with white in small outward strokes.

Step 4: With the detail brush, add purple outline to flower, leaves and brows, then outline entire mask in curlicues curved away from the face.

-Blue, white and black water-activated face paint

-1 large paint/makeup brush

-1 small detail paint/makeup brush or liquid eyeliner

-water to wet paint cakes/clean brushes

Step 1: Using the larger brush, apply blue face paint in a simple bat shape around the eyes, then fill in.

Step 2: After rinsing the brush, add white face paint for highlights a half inch above the eyes over the brows.

Step 3: With the detail brush, paint thick black lines above the eyelids under the highlights.

Step 4: With same brush or eyeliner, outline mask in black, adding high brows and nose and cheek creases.

Step 1: With the large brush, apply red bandana shape on forehead and purple eye-patch shape below.

Step 2: Using the square brush, add white vertical stripes on the bandana and a white stripe on the bottom curve of the eye patch.
