Time Out says

The music house, where there is also an exhibition hall, shines with its acoustic. It's a perfect set up for all kinds of music events with its great acoustic arrangement, insolated practice rooms and concert halls with the ideal spectator capacity. The ground floor is designed as an exhibition floor. This floor, however, has a flexible structure, appropriate for holding different events as well. With 140 parters and 60 balconies, the concert hall on the second and third floors has a capacity of 200 people. There are six different practice rooms on the fourth floor. Multi purpose events can take place on the fifth and sixth floors. Also, the terrace upstairs has a magnificent view of Istanbul. The Borusan Music House is purified of the ruckus of İstiklal Caddes with special glass implements.

Ruins and Remains: Wolfert Brederode, Matangi Quartet, Joost Lijbaart

Wolfert Brederode, Matangi Quartet, and Joost Lijbaart's 2022 release, Ruins and Remains, received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. This Edison Award-winning album is considered one of the most remarkable works produced in the Netherlands in recent years. Originally composed in 2018 by Wolfert Brederode for piano, string quartet, and percussion, the suite was created to commemorate the centennial of the end of World War I. Over time, however, it has taken on broader and more personal meanings, encompassing a wide array of associations. Composer and pianist Brederode describes the piece as being about mourning, loss, and learning to rise again. Brederode, Lijbaart, and the adventurous Matangi Quartet, one of the Netherlands' most daring string ensembles, will perform this extraordinary work at Borusan Music House.
