Many of us love good Indian food, and, thanks to Hong Kong's culturally diverse population, we've got more than our fair share of incredible Indian restaurants available in the city. This cuisine is known for its pronounced aromatics, spiciness, and overall deliciousness. With right now perhaps not being the most appealing time to go and casually dine in at your favourite Indian spot, it's lucky that a few of our beloved curry houses deliver. Specialising in the cuisine of different Indian regions, here are some of the very best Indian restaurants doing delivery in Hong Kong.

Well visited for their lunch buffets, this contemporary Indian restaurant is all about freshness, and it's no different where their delivery options are concerned. Try their chicken tikka chaat ($72), or the creative kebabs – from pesto mushroom tikka ($108) to lemongrass fish tikka ($148). These will act as a delicious lead-in to the mains, which are split into chicken, lamb, and seafood, and include the old favourites butter chicken ($128), goan lamb vindaloo ($138), and prawn masala ($148). There's also a decent vegetarian selection if you're not meat-inclined.

Tucked away on Temple street, Bombay Restaurant is known for its relatively affordable prices and big portions. Popular amongst locals and tourists, this cosy curry house is the go-to spot after a day of shopping on Temple street. Their delivery menu sets range from $145 to$645, and for one to four people. In these sets are favourites like the popular chicken tikka, lamb curry, and of course, lamb and rice. Aside from sets, appetisers start at around $50 for an onion bhaji whilst mains such as chicken jalfrezi ($115) are priced very reasonably.

The world’s first Michelin-starred Punjabi restaurant delivers its mouth-watering creations to your home. With delicacies like the tandoori lobster and the chicken tikka, spiced tomato and butter, this Wyndham Street eatery gained many fans since opening in 2017. Email delivery@blacksheeprestaurants.com with your order by 2pm latest, for an order to be picked up/delivered in the evening.

Famous for their lunch and weekend buffets, Bombay Dreams serves up all the Indian classics along with addictive dosas- fresh for each customer. You'll be happy to know that they do delivery, with an extensive menu that includes sets. The sets are for two people, range from $420-$536, and include the usual suspects like samosas, kebab, curries – from korma to rogan josh. For those wanting to select their dishes individually, there's lots to choose from, like tandoori chicken ($108), and vindaloo ($128).

Located at the heart of Central, Rang Mahal serves traditional northern Indian dishes. The cosy environment, combined with the diverse flavours of each dish makes this restaurant a popular lunch spot. Their menu consists of items that follow their philosophy of serving the best of Mughlai cuisine to their guests. The delivery menu boasts a range of scrumptious bites, all reasonably priced. All starters – such as samosas and assorted bhajis are available for only $48. Mains like lamb rogan josh and butter chicken are all ($118). Finally, the vegetarian section of the menu boasts channa masala and cheesy paneer palak, to name a couple – all $88.

The Ship Street resto-bar breaks tradition by serving up creative new takes on Indian delicacies alongside some old favourites. For those not interested in dining in at this cool spot, delivery options include many of their popular dishes brought straight to your door. Try the Bollywood Bravas – an Indian take on the classic Spanish potato dish – for $88, or get the restaurant's signature gunpowder chicken delivered for $108 a pop. As far as curries, Gunpowder does a mean dal makhani and creamy kadai paneer, for $98 and $118 respectively. Get all this and more delivered and have a blast at home!
