As part of the national Museums at Night festival, Winterbourne are keeping their doors open into the evening for visitors to enjoy an atmospheric dusk in the gardens. A re-imagining of a party thrown to keep wartime spirits up will take place throughout the day, seeing the servants of the house bustling away in preparation for the festivities. Visitors can help run errands before the party kicks off with live music and lawn games. Costumed guides will also be on hand to offer up more information about the house built for John and Margaret Nettleford in 1903. Normal admission prices apply and last entry will be at 7pm.
