Gothic in Birmingham

Curated by Phd Art student Grace Williams, and presented by Birmingham City University, this exhibition coincides with a production of Rebecca at the Rep and celebrates the wonderful world of Gothic. Literature, film, architecture, art and culture are all explored and a day symposium focussed on the theme will take place on Sat 2 May. A selection of scholars from the across the aforementioned disciplines will be in attendance to discuss the influence gothic has on art photography and literature. Tickets for the conference are free but should be booked in advance.
