First Annual Malcolm X Film Festival

Before 'The Malcolm X Movement' festival begins in London this summer, a one day event marking 50 years of his martyrdom and celebrating the human rights activist's life is set to take place in Birmingham. Three sessions focussing on the Civil Rights and Black Power movement, global struggle and his legacy are scheduled, and confirmed speakers include Sara Myers, Minkah Odofo, ken Fero and Saquib Deshmukh.
