Birmingham Chilli Festival

Returning for 2015, the Birmingham Chilli Festival sees a sizzling line-up of live music, street performances and the super popular chilli-inspired food market set up shop in Brindleyplace. To celebrate the destination's 20th anniversary, visitors are encouraged to take part in the '20 Chilli Challenge' were they'll be encouraged to sample a different spicy treat at every stall to be in with a chance of winning a mystery prize on the day. Between 3-4pm, the annual chilli eating competition will take place with 20 brave and barmy contenders attempting to beat the heat and chow down on the hottest chilli they can stomach.
