Little Voice spends her days alone in her room, listening to the beautiful voices of Billie Holiday, Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland on the records collected by her late father. Downstairs her mother Mari gets on with life by shrieking and shouting her way through it, oblivious to the fact her daughters can match the heroines she listens to note for note. When Mari's latest boyfriend,a small-time talent scout called Ray Say overhears LV, he realises this may be his big break. He'll be able to cash in the big bucks if he can just find a way to persuade her to perform. Tickets should be booked in advance.
