Ontroerend Goed: Sirens

Six young women examine what it's like to be a female in the Western world, questioning role models, patterns of expectation and ongoing inequalities and abuse, alongside the new-found liberties of being a woman in the 21st century. The piece uses images from the fashion industry, advertising and porn teamed with sound bites of everyday sexism, song lyrics and snippets from social media, resulting in a multi-layered performance.
