Tattu a multi-sensory experience, serving modern Chinese cuisine & taking guests on a unique culinary journey from East to West China. With stunning interiors inspired by the Yin & Yang symbol.
The Birmingham design follows an interpretation of this principle, where two
opposing concepts come together & blend to create harmony. Spread over two
levels, guests are led on a journey from the feminine & floral Yin to the fiery &
masculine Yang each with their own distinct style yet complementary to the other.
Yin is the dark element linked with femininity, shadows & water. The main restaurant downstairs represents ‘Yin’, it is detailed in feminine finishes, including cherry blossom that cascades throughout the space.
Yang is the light element linked with masculinity, growth and fire. This new design is featured in our street entrance, including our bar & private dining areas. Utilising light natural materials.
Tattu cocktails, made for all the senses, exquisite in taste and delivered with flair due to their masterfully curated theatrical presentation. Such as, the Skull Candy, made with Crystal Head Vodka, candy & lemon, presented in a smoking skull or the Light and Miscellany, a rum-based drink, served with a lit Chinese lantern hung overhead, are amongst a long list of cocktail showstoppers.
Tattu recommends a shared dining experience with an extensive menu that starts with traditional dim sum & moves through to small & large plates, ending with innovative desserts.
