One of the world’s best breaking competitions, Red Bull BC One, is coming to Birmingham for the second year running on Saturday April 25 – and there's still time for local b-boys to get in on the action.

The winner of the Red Bull BC One UK Cypher will qualify for the Western European Finals, and after that it's just a short flight to Rome for the World Finals later in the year.

2013 BC One champ Lilou will be on the judging panel alongside the UK's most successful b-boy of all time, Mouse, running the rule over eight pre-selected breakers – Spin, Sunni, LB, Victor J, Echo, B-Girl Rawgina, Kharnage, Ling – and a host of newbies from across the country.

If you think you've got what it takes, then sign up to take part in these one-on-one battles right here.

Budding b-boys and b-girls still honing their top-rocks, down-rocks, power moves, freezes and other essential b-boy moves can still get involved, too. The UK finals are free to watch and the Red Bull BC One crew – who've been doing this since 2004 – will be hosting a range of workshops in the city.

The action goes down at the Q Club on Saturday April 25, from 6pm. Tickets are free. For more information go to the redbullbcone.com website.
