Set up by three British expat brothers Nathan, Leo and Harry, Sameheads is a curio of a bar, a hipster hangout that trades on its endearing, yet contrived, feel of ramshackle charm and aggressively-ironic aesthetic. A perfect home for exiled Shoreditch types, it offers a regular pub quiz night, a mini boutique, dance floor, bar, gallery space. But if Sameheads is trying a wee bit too hard to ace that ineffable mythical Berlin cool so beloved of visitors here, at least they're doing it in a friendly and welcoming manner. It veers from eerily deserted to rammed seemingly within moments.
