Time Out says

Time Out Market is a unique global concept, celebrating authentic flavours and bringing together the best food and chefs of the city, all under one roof. What started in 2014 with the opening of Time Out Market Lisbon has turned into a global phenomenon: Time Out Market Barcelona, which opened in July 2024, is the ninth location of this culinary concept, following in the footsteps of major cities around the world (New York, Montreal, Porto, Cape Town and more).

You’ll find Time Out Market Barcelona at Port Vell, on the terrace-viewpoint of Maremagnum. Directly accessible from the street via escalators and a lift, the 5,250 square metre space features a curated selection of 13 chefs, a full-service restaurant and four bars, two of which are outdoors with spectacular views of the sea and the city, including iconic buildings like the Torre del Reloj in Barceloneta and the new fish market.

Easter Menu by Fran López at Time Out Market

Having time off isn’t the only thing that makes our mouths water during Easter — so does celebrating it with our loved ones, gathered around a well-set table. At Time Out Market, there’s no need to watch the clock hungrily until Mona Day: you can enjoy a feast every day from April 13 to 21 at chef Fran López’s restaurant, who has a Michelin star up his sleeve. The offer? An elegant menu dressed in shirt, trousers, and its perfect accessory: first, cauliflower gnocchi with pistachio pesto; second, cod pil-pil with potato parmentier or samfaina. All for 25 euros, including a drink, and no reservation needed. These suggestions are glimpses into his culinary identity, one that fishes from the Delta and its traditions to plate them in a more contemporary setting. This time, you’ll taste his style applied to cruciferous vegetables, tubers, and seafood. Finger and nose-licking good (if you can reach it)! Then it’s time to grab dessert from any of the market’s foodie havens and enjoy all the free Easter programming. What are you waiting for?

If you succeed, return him to his burrow at the Bubó bar inside the market, and as a reward, you’ll get sweet perks at the patisserie: free treats (ice cream, juices, pastries…), 2-for-1 deals, and other delights. If luck isn’t on your side, come back the next day to keep hunting for the plush bunny, who hides again each day. Don’t let the Alice inside you give up! It’s a wildly fun adventure —especially in the wonderland of Time Out Market: a true treasure box of surprises, with a raffle of free shows, amazing foodie corners to explore, and hypnotic views of the sea.
