Slow bar coffee has become a thing in many cafés in Bangkok. It’s the practice wherein a customer can sit at a bar or counter for, say, five to 10 minutes and wait while the barista makes a specialty drink for them using more precise brewing techniques, such as drip or pour-over.

This practice of patiently waiting for–and making–a good cuppa is something that coffee shops in Bangkok have been doing for quite some time, but it seems like cafés have recently adapted more sophisticated ways to create the best cup of coffee for connoisseurs who don’t impose a time limit.

If you’re in no hurry and think that good coffee is worth waiting for, then check out this list of  10 best spots to try this slow bar trend.
