A Mediterranean joint in Hampton, New Hampshire, came out on top as the number one cheap eats spot in the U.S. The study reveals the 10 best in the country but then dives deeper and reveals the best cheap eats in every state and then in 15 major U.S. cities.

So who offers the best budget-friendly meals in D.C., according to five-star ratings? The winner is El Rinconcito Café. This downtown spot has a 4.45 on Yelp and serves up a menu of flavorful Salvadoran specialties at a deliciously low price.
