Is it already time to start thinking about the holidays? Starbucks has not yet graced us with its Pumpkin Spice Latte, but the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has already revealed what’s sure to be a top holiday gift this season.

Head on over to the D.C. Metro Store where you’ll find the 'Tis the Season to Ride Holiday Sweater now available for pre-order. The cozy sweater lets you display your enthusiasm for the D.C. Metro system, or at least have a decent chance of winning the ugly sweater contest this year.

The sweater features D.C.’s top transportation options pulled by tiny little reindeer. A gingerbread man happily sits inside a Metro train car, with a signpost listing all the Metrorail lines. The best part, however, is that the depiction of the Metro train car on the sweater has blinking lights and plays the iconic “Doors Opening” chime.

To see the sweater in action, check out this post on X from WMATA General Manager and CEO Randy Clarke.

To snag your limited-edition holiday sweater, you can purchase one during the pre-sale, which runs from August 14 through August 28. For just $70, this cozy sweater can be in your hands by November.
