D.C. travelers with an Amex card in their wallet will be happy to officially welcome the opening of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport's (DCA) brand new Centurion Lounge on July 17th. Located in Terminal 2, the new 12,000-square-foot lounge is open Sunday through Friday from 5am until 9pm and on Saturday from 5am until 7pm.

With design elements that pay homage to the city and its surrounding areas, the lounge displays artwork by local artists, as well as all of the brand's signature Centurion Lounge amenities. In addition to the complimentary Wi-Fi, dedicated workstations, shower suite, and premium restrooms, in a first for Centurion Lounges, guests here will be able to enjoy food from three distinct award-winning chefs: Michelle Bernstein, Ravi Kapur, and Michael Solomonov. Innovative dishes range from tamari-honey glazed tofu and pineapple to creamy polenta and shabazi-spiced salmon with pomegranate BBQ sauce.

Lounge-goers can pair their meal with specialty cocktails from the lounge's esteemed drink and wine list, curated by Centurion Lounge Mixologist Jim Meehan and Centurion Lounge Wine Director Anthony Giglio.

“The Centurion Lounge is one of our Card Members’ favorite travel benefits, and the new location at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport offers Card Members the premium amenities they love in an airport they frequently travel through,” said Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel.

Waiting for your flight has never felt more luxurious.
