Rock & Roll Hotel

Downstairs, this is a basic rock bar, but the upper floor plays on the hotel theme with private rooms that can be rented by small groups. (No beds; it’s not that kind of hotel.) Since opening in 2006, the 400-capacity club has scored numerous booking coups, including utterly sold-out shows by Sleigh Bells, Best Coast and Phoenix. Recent acts include Jamie Lidell, the Cave Singers and the Meat Puppets. DJs rule upstairs, and occasionally below.
