Rededicated as a synagogue in 2004 after five decades as a church, this Byzantine Revival temple is non-denominational and has no permanent congregation. While many of the activities here are religious, the striking, intimate two-story sanctuary has also become a significant concert venue. It’s hosted a wide range of big names in recent years, including Adele, Bryan Adams and Fiona Apple. Comedy shows (with big names like Lewis Black) are also popular.
