Time Out says

While not the birthplace (Boston was), Baltimore is the burial site of Edgar Allan Poe, the master of the macabre who first won national acclaim with his poem "The Raven". He died in 1849 at age 40. His final resting place is Westminster Hall & Burying Ground, the cemetery of the First Presbyterian Church. Visit the churchyard on your own, or call for a guided tour of the catacombs conducted on the first and third Friday of each month from April to November.
