Time Out says

With the Washington Monument temporarily closed, the Old Post Office has taken over as the city’s best viewing point—and you can see the Washington Monument from here too. It’s a 47-second ride to the ninth floor; you then change to another elevator bound for the 12th, and top, floor. The 270ft observation level allows visitors an awe-inspiring view of the city and surrounding area.
