A bustling west-coast hub, Vancouver is one of Canada's most diverse cities. With a thriving art and culture scene, it's also a popular filming location for films like (our fave) the coming-of-age classic Juno. Surrounded by rolling mountains, stretches of sea, and lush greenery, it's the lovechild of the urban and natural worlds.

While a trip to the city exploring and eating your body weight in poutine and maple syrup is great, you'll need somewhere to rest your head afterward. Especially if the next day's activities include visiting the best of Vancouver's attractions and spending your hard-earned cash on shopping. That's why we thought we'd be super nice and create a handy guide to the best hotels in Vancouver. It'll be a hard task trying to pick just one to book.

Who makes the cut? While we might not stay in and review every hotel featured, we've based our list on our expert knowledge of the destination covered, editorial reviews, user reviews, hotel amenities and in-depth research to find you the best stays.
