Fairytale lovers, rejoice: you can now—sort of—venture down the rabbit hole when visiting the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The destination has set up a new exhibit called "Imaginary Worlds: Alice's Wonderland" that is based on the iconic Lewis Carrol book Alice in Wonderland.
Expect a 16-foot-tall Red Queen and a 14-foot-tall Alice to literally take your breath away alongside life-size renditions of the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, a grand chess board, heart "trees" and plenty more.
All of the sculptures fall within the mosaiculture category, a type of horticulture practiced by artists that use thousands of bedding plants attached to steel frames to create various designs.
This isn't the first time that the botanical garden has dissected the popular children's fairytale but this year's exhibit—open until November 1—is, according to the venue itself, "bigger and better than ever."
