Obviously, we won't be able to go to the movies any time soon—but who says we can't enjoy theater-like excitement at home?
Fandango and Lionsgate have partnered up to help us do just that: replicate the magic of the movies at home by live-streaming a different movie each Friday night. The events kick off tonight, with a free stream of the always-awesome Dirty Dancing on the Fandango Movieclips channel on Youtube at 9pm EST.
But there is more: the film's star, Jennifer Grey, has just given out her community number on Twitter, urging fans to text her during tonight's livestream. Dare we say this is that much more exciting than actually going to the movies?

"I wanted to give you my number because Lionsgate is doing this special free screening of Dirty Dancing and I'm going to be sharing memorabilia from the movie and chatting and telling stories," the actress said in a video that she posted on Twitter. "I thought it might be really nice if you wanted to engage, you could just text me. Seriously, text me! Tell your friends! Save my number!" The star goes on to actually give out the precious information.
Coming up on next on Lionsgate and Fandango's roster is La La Land on May 1 and John Wick the following Friday, May 8. Although we don't yet know whether those livestreams will feature any guest stars, we sure hope to be able to add Emma Stone's and Keanu Reeves' digits to our contact list in the near future.
