As the world around us changes on a daily, almost hourly, basis, we’re all having to adapt to our new circumstances. For some people that means live-streaming their cancelled events, teaching yoga virtually or taking gigs onto Instagram Live. For a lot of us, it simply means staying home—perhaps working from home, maybe home-schooling our kids—and almost definitely facing some new worries and anxieties.
That's where world-famous Ivy League university Yale comes in. They’ve shared their most popular course, The Science of Well Being, online, for free, wherever you are in the world.
You can sign up for the course, taught by Yale psychologist Laurie Santos, on Coursera for free (it’s abbreviated but you’re swerving Yale’s eye-watering undergrad price tag). Following Santos’ ten-week seminar series, you’ll learn how to increase your happiness, debunk myths about what makes us happy and ultimately create better, more productive habits.
The course is the most popular in the university’s history, and it’s set to get even more sign-ups now we’ve all got some spare time to fill. If not now, when?
