Looking for a new reason to go glamping? Check out Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, which just opened up an updated version of its log cabin-style accommodations for visitors. For a dose of nature with your Disney stay, the Fort Wilderness Resort is the place to be, with 750 acres of trees, as well as tent camping and RV hook-ups available. For those who don’t want to succumb to the full-on camping experience, the new cabins boast luxurious amenities like a walk-in shower, full kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The newly updated cabins can sleep up to six “campers,” and guests can even bring their pets along for their stay. “The new cabins have a much more open, modern feel, much lighter and brighter,” explained Suzanna Szak, a senior interior designer with Walk Disney Imagineering.
Those staying at The Cabins can enjoy nightly campfire singalongs (Chip and Dale included), watch an outdoor movie, and roast s’mores. While on a break from the theme parks, visitors can also enjoy classic camping experiences like kayaking, archery, horseback riding, and fishing. Who needs to sleep in a tent when you’ve got cozy cabins at your fingertips?
