Department stores can be a blast to shop in, going department to department, up and down escalators, through incredible displays. These stores help you find everything you need across many categories, and it can be a legitimate experience--worthy of visiting even if your shopping isn't that necessary--just to walk through the environment. Anyone who has ducked into Galeries Lafayette in Paris can attest that it was worth visiting just to visit! In the United States, we have two department stores in the top 10 worldwide, according to a study by CouponPi, a community-powered platform that shares coupons. CouponPi analyzed more than 46,000 Google reviews to create its list. Not only that, both of our listed department stores are in New York City. Bonus tidbit: five of the top 10 are in London!
