One of the frustrating things about following a recipe is making sure you have all the ingredients you need on-hand, which can sometimes result in multiple trips to the store or double Instacart deliveries. Kelsey Lynch’s new cookbook endeavors to solve the problem while giving you something to do with your latest Trader Joe’s haul.
Cooking Through Trader Joe’s Cookbook is filled with recipes featuring the grocery stores’ top-selling items, including the tasty condiments you’re not quite sure what to do with (looking at you, Everything but the Elote). Whether you’re cooking for one or hosting a party and need ideas, inside you’ll find instructions for whipping up appetizers, entrées, cocktails and even desserts—think vanilla bourbon French toast, Indian flatbread and fried honey-butter chicken sandwiches. What makes Lynch an expert on the popular chain? She runs the Trader Joe’s Food Reviews account on Instagram and TikTok, and spends her free time scouring the aisles for the latest items, taking photos to help you find them at your local store and trying new dishes to share with her 165,000 followers (!!).
Cooking Through Trader Joe’s Cookbook is available to purchase on Amazon, though it isn’t the first TJ-inspired book on the market. In fact, there are dozens of others just like it. But if shopping the store has taught us anything is that new sells and if it’s got Trader Joe’s on the label, you better pounce fast or risk missing out.
