Would you consider being a wife a skill worth sharing on your resume? Apparently, folks in Montana think so—at least according to a new survey led by Zippia. The career website analyzed 3,543,017 resumes and looked for the oddest adjectives, nouns and hobbies that people from all around the country included in the document. The results will truly astound you and likely have you giggle your way through the weekend.
A few standouts we feel compelled to discuss: New Yorkers unsurprisingly find "arguing" to be an expertise while folks in Texas refer to Bigfoot when applying to jobs (we really can't explain that one). Hobbies in Vermont (beekeeping), Utah (genealogy) and Rhode Island (acrobatics) are unexpectedly delightful and certainly not as weird as including "Kardashians" on your resume (Californians, huh?).
