Forget Paris. According to new research from swimwear brand Pour Moi, six U.S. cities are among the world’s 20 most romantic destinations, and they’re bringing serious date-night energy.

Pour Moi analyzed over 550 cities using TripAdvisor reviews and Instagram data to build a "Romantic Score" out of 100. The ranking factored in how often attractions were described as “romantic,” how many couple-friendly activities each city offers and how often people used #datenight + city name on social media.

Globally, London took the top spot, but New York City (66.65) and Miami (54.64) weren't far behind—ranking second and third worldwide.

NYC tops the U.S. list, and it’s easy to see why. The city practically scripts your love story for you. Think strolls in the West Village, skyline views from the Empire State Building or skating hand-in-hand under the stars at Rockefeller Center. From rowboats in Central Park to cozy coffee shops and cafes, it's rom-com gold.

Miami follows closely in the second spot, serving up romance with a tropical twist. With 167 couple-friendly activities listed, it’s a hotspot for lovers. Sunset walks on South Beach, spa days in luxury hotels or dancing all night in Little Havana—whatever your vibe, Miami sets the scene.

Las Vegas ranks third in the U.S., perfect for couples who like their love with a little adrenaline. From vow renewals in kitschy chapels to sky-high helicopter rides, this city doesn’t do subtle. Sip cocktails overlooking the Strip or float through the faux canals of the Venetian. Vegas is all about bold romance.

The other U.S. cities making the list of the 20 most romantic destinations in the world are Los Angeles (16), Charleston (17) and New Orleans (20)—each offering their own flavor of love, from beachside sunsets to historic charm and jazz-filled nights.

So if you're planning a getaway with your better half, skip the clichés. The most romantic cities might be closer than you think.
