We found the most useful COVID-19-related travel map out there. This interactive illustration is the very first one we've seen that lets you type in what state you're coming from and then shows you which destinations within the United States will require you to quarantine or travel and return home.
It's all pretty self-explanatory: enter the name of your state and notice the map change colors. Dark orange states will require you to quarantine upon arrival, lighter orange ones will also ask you to stay home for 14 days but with exceptions while dark gray states have issued a health advisory that isn't mandated. Lighter gray states, on the other hand, haven't placed any restrictions on travelers arriving from your departure point.
The map was created by Wanderlog—a travel planner app—sourcing information from each state's tourism board or public health authority's website.
In addition to travel-related updates, the page that houses the map also provides readers with state-by-state information, including whether masks are required in any given city plus details about any other sort of potential restrictions. Bonus points: sources are mentioned all throughout, making the effort that much more reliable. Feel free to play around with the map above!
