Comfort is all we need and crave in 2020—and it seems like folks out in Texas have found a pretty crafty (and safe!) way of providing just that in the form of a homemade pecan pie vending machine. Yes, you read that right.
The full-sized delicacies are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week right off Highway 71 in Cedar Creek, Texas, in front of the Berdoll Pecan Candy & Gift Company shop. The invention is the work of Berdoll Pecan Farm, whose pies are apparently so in demand they've led the staff to the conclusion that, in order to properly satisfy the public's sweet tooth, a constantly restocked vending machine would be the way to go. Customers will also be able to purchase some other sweet treats from the one-of-a-kind object throughout the day.
You'll also notice a statue of a supersized squirrel holding a pecan nearby. That would be Ms. Pearl: at 14 feet tall, she functions as a sort of alert to nearby drivers that they've found the famous vending machine and that a fresh, delicious, comforting and delectable pecan pie is just a few minutes away.
