It seems like getting-paid-to-do-stuff-we-would-do-for-free has quickly become the theme of this global period of pause. And we're not complaining.

In the past few months, companies have promised us pretty hefty sums of cash to binge-watch all Harry Potter and Star Wars movies, for example. But now, Whistle Out—a company that studies phone and Internet rates—is going a step further, offering folks $1,000 to host three separate virtual brunch meals with friends through different video chatting applications.

You can host the meals via Airtime, Bunch, Houseparty, Rave or Squad—just make sure to report your thoughts about the app once you wrap up your virtual hangout. In addition to a thousand bucks, lucky participants will receive a $300 gift card to Grubhub. Sounds like a total win to us.

As for "job" requirements, there aren't that many: you must commit to hosting three brunches across three different apps, answer some questions about the experiences once they are over and you must be at least 18 and eligible to work in the United States to apply.

You can fill out the application and read more about the program right here. You have until May 15 at 3:59am EST to sign up.

After signing up and hoping to get chosen, we suggest you partake in some culinary brainstorming in preparation for the grand meals you'll be cooking up: here are the most popular recipes everyone is Googling right now
