From quarantine cakes to two aliens rapping stay-at-home advice, social media knows how to poke fun at just about everything. And as folks cope with social distancing, we could all use more of that kind of shared levity. So we’ve rounded up some funny Instagram accounts that reign supreme in comedic relief. Each will surely keep you amused—you won't be able to stop snickering over doodles of sloths who can’t stop swearing, viral Instagram personalities (have you seen Ina Garten's enormous cosmo?), and clips from the ultimate fandom account of The Office.
Leslie Jordan
Will and Grace star Leslie Jordan, 64, is in the spotlight thanks to videos of himself he’s been posting daily on Instagram. Each one documents his tales and dramas during quarantine, and the Internet is finding such comfort in his comedic ramblings—he’s officially hit a million followers this week.
In one of his recent posts above, that he captioned "Torture," he mimics what his current teenage tantrum looks like while stuck at home.”What are y'all doing?" he asks to whoever is watching. "This is awful. It's still March. How many days in March?! When is April gonna f*cking get here!” He then proceeds to scream down to his 84-year-old mother, whom he is currently quarantined with in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that he’s busy chatting with his friends.
Seth Rogan
I don’t necessarily trust my Alexa to not eavesdrop on me and sell my secrets to advertisers, but I think I just found what I’m gonna be doing for the next few weeks: pic.twitter.com/PEOCCRNdnd

In a recent video Rogen posted to Twitter, he can be heard asking his Amazon Alexa to fart. The speaker lets out a toot and replies, “That was a tiny one. I have another one brewing. Do you want to hear it?” If you know Rogen's usual humor he never quits on a joke, he takes it as far as he possibly can until it's borderline inappropriate. Throughout the rest of the video is Rogen proves farting is still funny and that Alexa has a lot in her arsenal.

Everyone needs their daily micro-dose of The Office. In this unofficial Instagram account you can "discuss, criticize, comment upon, enjoy, and re-watch your favorite moments" of the show, per their Insta bio. Why is The Office so beloved? It's basically TV as comfort and catharsis where anyone can laugh out loud at Michael Scott burning his foot while grilling bacon on his George Foreman’s grill. This account will stop your scroll, and bring back that same levity all over again.

This account by an incredible illustrator out of London doodles her own words and poetry into comic art and cartoons. She mostly draws animals, many of which are endangered or feared, like muskrats, sloths and bears, and turns each illustration into uplifting poems that anyone can identify with.
She teaches folks how to deal with rejection!
Through her art, you'll be smirking at a porcupine in a dress who loves its dresses with pockets just as much as you do. There is also a colorful use of cathartic swearing that makes each illustration relatable as it is a hoot.
