These days, dining out requires a few snaps to record the experience, whether it’s sharing a beautifully constructed dish or eye-catching decor with friends after the fact. The same is true when it comes to reviewing a restaurant. Some restaurants are more photogenic than others, and Yelp has revealed which restaurants are the most photographed in the U.S.

To determine the rankings, Yelp identified businesses in the restaurant and food categories on the platform and then ranked the restaurants based on how frequently users submitted photos with their reviews between January 1 and June 18, 2024. Results were limited to five per state.

Of the 25 restaurants in Yelp’s list, California restaurants dominate with five entries in different cities in the state. Las Vegas follows with four entries. Chicago and New York each have two frequently-snapped spots. But which restaurants made the top ten?

Coming in as the number one most photographed restaurant in the U.S. is Nep Cafe by Kei Concepts in Irvine, CA. After waiting an average of four hours for a table, diners are eager to record their achievement with snaps of the highly-rated, innovative Vietnamese fusion cuisine that includes dishes like roasted bone marrow over orecchiette, uni and soft scrambled eggs on toast and the layered original Egg Coffee.

At number two is Juqi, a popular Beijing-based Chinese restaurant with one location in Flushing, NY. If you order the tableside carved Peking duck without taking a pic, did it even happen? Other photo-worthy dishes include the Imperial Mashed Potatoes—an edible Tu'er Ye made of cold mashed potatoes filled with bacon and sweet peas—and the lychee shrimp ball, rolled in puffed grains of red yeast rice.

The number three most photographed restaurant in the U.S. is Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas, NV. The chef’s infamous Beef Wellington and Lobster Risotto are certainly worth capturing, but the dramatic decor and buzzing open kitchen are a must for the memory bank.
