Super Bowl LIX ticket prices are plummeting, so now might be your chance to snag a ticket to the game this weekend-but don't get too excited. While prices have dropped significantly and are much lower than last year's, they’ll still do a number on your wallet.

How much was the cheapest Super Bowl ticket in 2024?

The cheapest tickets right before game time last year hovered between $4,000 and $6,000.

How much is a Super Bowl ticket in 2025?

As of Tuesday, the average price for a seat at Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles showdown at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans sits at $6,552 on TickPick. That’s a significant drop from last year’s $9,136 average for the Chiefs vs. 49ers. The price still ranks as the third-highest ever on the platform, however. The cheapest ticket is just under $4,000, plummeting nearly 30% since the matchup was set.

Over at Gametime, the get-in price now sits at $3,740, a major dip from $6,375 just a week ago. Compare that to last year’s minimum price of $8,764 right before kickoff, and this Super Bowl is shaping up to be one of the most affordable-relatively-in recent history.

StubHub reports a 12% jump in ticket sales, thanks to these lower prices and strong local demand. Their average ticket price is now $7,299—down 16% from last year. The cheapest seat on StubHub is $2,930, nearly 50% less than 2024’s prices at this point.

Why are Super Bowl ticket prices declining?

Ticket prices generally plummet by thousands of dollars in the days leading up to the game, so there’s no surprise here. Although the larger capacity of the Superdome, which means more availability, could be one explanation. The matchup—the third time in a row for the Chiefs and the second time in recent years that the Chiefs and Eagles have faced off—could also explain the drop.
