The much-anticipated North American leg of BTS' tour is officially postponed, as were the first dates in Seoul, scheduled for early April.

“We would like to inform you that there will be some adjustments to the upcoming BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR- NORTH AMERICA schedule in order to make sure that we put the safety of everyone involved first and foremost,” reads an official statement by the band.

The South Korean boy band was originally scheduled to kick off the 37-date Map of the Soul North American tour on April 25 in Santa Clara, California. The last leg of the shows was to bring them to Chicago on June 6.

Although the postponement was made official, no rescheduled dates have yet been announced. According to Ticketmaster, though, all original tickets will be valid for the new dates.

K-pop fans can still get a taste of what the band has to offer through a new web series that the septet launched on social media app Weverse. Learn! Korean with BTS features thirty 3-minute episodes, each one focusing on Korean grammar and based on lesson plans developed by researchers at the Korean Language Content Institute and Professor Heo Yong of the Department of Korean Education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

The series will also feature footage from the band's YouTube series (BTS Episode, Bangtan Bomb) and reality show Run BTS!

Given the global quarantine period we find ourselves in, this is actually the perfect time to learn a new language. So, thank you, BTS.
