Remember when Heinz launched that awful-looking green ketchup? How about that even weirder purple one? Well, the company might have just outdone itself in the "is this really necessary?" department.
Let us introduce you to Mayochup, a pre-made blend of mayonnaise and ketchup that Heinz might start selling in the United States.
Yes, we said might. Heinz is actually asking Americans if they'd like the condiment, now only sold in some Middle East Gulf states, to be available stateside by leading a Twitter poll through April 15. If the poll closes with 50,000 "yes" votes, you'll find Mayochup in a supermarket near you.
Want #mayochup in stores? 500,000 votes for “yes” and we’ll release it to you saucy Americans.

As usual, social media users have opinions and they are not embarrassed to share them. Check out some of these hilarious reactions to the new product:
Who said American innovation is dead. @HeinzKetchup_US just invented Thousand Island dressing. https://t.co/uBK7qMGVhr

The people that think Mayochup even sounds good are the same people who put Ketchup on there Mac and cheese.
