Travel trailer company Airstream just launched Portable Park, a truly stunning video series made with HD footage seeking to capture America's natural wonders in ways never seen before.
"In these unprecedented times, our physical roaming is limited, leaving us to dream and plan for the day when we will once again cross deserts, navigate mountains, and sleep alongside babbling brooks and crashing waves," reads the program's website. "To stoke your dreams and soothe your wanderer's soul, Airstream is pleased to bring some of America’s most majestic outdoor places to the place where you are sheltering."
The project's first installment, which aptly debuted on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, focuses on Yellowstone Park, complete with the sounds and sights that you'd get to enjoy if actually traveling to the destination. The video is, to put it mildly, mind-blowing: it's beautiful to look out, peaceful to listen to and overall stunning. Take a look at it right here.
On that same page, you'll be able to read all about the park's history and plan your next visit—when parks around the country open up again, of course.
In the meantime, if you're craving more wanderlust footage, delve deep into Google Earth's virtual tours or the very best national parks in the United States.
