Imagine you’re flying over Las Vegas and down below you see a giant pepperoni pizza. Is it making you hungry? Well, that’s the idea behind next week’s Pie in the Sky, Pizza Hut’s latest publicity stunt in honor of the year’s busiest travel day, November 21.
Next Tuesday, the company will transform the Vegas Exosphere (the exterior of the new Sphere venue) into a massive, cheesy, pepperoni pizza travelers can see from their airplane windows. The mouthwatering campaign also celebrates the launch of Pizza Hut’s new $7 Deal Lover’s Menu, which includes pizza melts, a medium one-topping pizza and donut bites, among other restaurant favorites.
Because the company knows its cruel to taunt its customers with a delicious pizza they cannot eat, they’re using the Pie in the Sky moment to give away free medium pizzas—or anything else your heart desires from the $7 Deal Lover’s Menu. All you have to do is scan the QR code on the Sphere between 5:30 and 9:30pm PST and redeem the queued coupon at any participating Pizza Hut location in the U.S. This means, if you're passing through Vegas and scan the code, you could enjoy a free pizza at your final destination.
