Visiting Yosemite is always a huge experience, and staying overnight in the park itself adds a whole other dimension: You’re there, you’re part of it and the night stars belong to you. You can wander out at night to see the tiny lights gleaming on the face of El Capitan from rock climbers, watch the moon rise over Half Dome and reel at the majesty before you, knowing your bed is just a few steps away. And on a pragmatic level, it’s great not to have to join the line of cars entering the park more than once.

Right now, Yosemite’s offering 25 percent off its hotel rooms during Cyber Week.

That deal applies to the Yosemite Valley Lodge (closest to the Firefall phenomenon which happens in February), the glorious Parkitecture of the Ahwahnee and even the heated tent cabins at Curry Village right by the seasonal skating rink. Missing the Wawona in that listing? It closed on Monday, indefinitely, as park service officials learn more about the 1856 hotel’s condition and figure out if repairs can be made. A roof replacement project is already underway, according to Your Central Valley

You can book a stay for January, February or March—but you have to book by December 8 and use the code CYBERWEEK. This is considered Yosemite’s best deal of the year. If you’re worried that winter isn’t the right time to go, know that there’s an alien beauty to Yosemite blanketed in snow, and there are still a ton of things to do. Best of all? Fewer crowds.
