Are you ready for a new kind of ride? Norwegian Cruise Lines just announced an epic new attraction that will be featured onboard its newest ship, Aqua. It’s a two-for-one thrill ride that adrenaline junkies won’t want to miss.

Dubbed the Aqua Slidecoaster, the ride will be the world’s first hybrid waterslide-rollercoaster. As described in a press release, the Slidecoaster will feature “dual slides and a magnetic lift that propels adventurous guests through two different courses.” The three-story high ride will send you twisting and turning around the ship's funnel.

The Slidecoaster isn’t the only new attraction that will debut aboard the Aqua. The new Glow Court—a digital sports complex offering a slate of daytime activities for guests—will have an interactive LED floor and will turn into a nightclub at the end of the day.

The Aqua is set to embark in April of 2025. It will be based in Port Canaveral, Florida, with seven-night sailings to the Caribbean calling at Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island in the Bahamas. The ship’s sailings will then expand to include five and seven-day cruises from New York to Bermuda, followed by five and seven-day cruises from Miami to the Eastern Caribbean.

More details are coming next year.
