Word on the street (and in the drive-through) is that the Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag is back again. For a ridiculously low one-time buy-in of $3, you can have a free Jr. Frosty for the entirety of 2025 with any purchase—and best of all, it benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Dave Thomas is the Wendy’s founder, who was adopted as a child. The chain is named for his daughter Melinda, nicknamed Wendy (who, yes, was a redhead in braids). Side note for trivia night: Thomas later regretted naming the restaurant Wendy's because of the pressure that put his daughter under.
The key tag featuring a smiling Frosty with rosy cheeks comes on a cute cardboard gingerbread house—you simply detach the Frosty cup and thread it onto your keys so you always have it with you. It’s good for any at-restaurant purchase until December 31, 2025. The Jr. Frosty is a little smaller than the typical Frosty, which is just perfect for a small indulgence after you’ve made your New Year’s resolutions around sweets.
The $3 tag is available at participating Wendy’s in the U.S. while supplies last. Just ask for one when you order (or the employee may offer it); you can also add one to an online order under the item “Give Something Back.”
