Hold onto your Mickey ears, Disney fans: the Disney Experiences showcase at D23 unveiled a slew of new projects in store for Disney in the coming years.

The first big news, announced by Josh D'Amaro, Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, is that Disney's Animal Kingdom is getting an Indiana Jones-themed ride. Bruce Vaughn, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Imagineering, joined in to reveal an Encanto-themed ride. Both attractions are set to debut in 2027, so you’ve got plenty of time to work on your best "We Don't Talk About Bruno" dance moves.

In a surprise appearance, the legendary Billy Crystal popped in to announce that Disney's Hollywood Studios is getting its own Monsters Inc. land. There, you’ll ride through the door factory on what will be the first-ever suspended coaster in a Disney park.

For those who favor the bad guys of Disney, prepare for the arrival of Villains Land at Magic Kingdom. All your favorite baddies, from Ursula and Jafar to the Evil Queen, will have their own playground to haunt. Disney Parks' TikTok gave a sneak peek with a montage of these iconic villains.

Also revealed at D23 is a Zootopia show, coming to Animal Kingdom in 2025. That same year will see the grand reopening of Epcot’s beloved Test Track, a new nighttime parade and two Cars-themed attractions at Frontierland. The future also includes a stunning Tropical Americas expansion—replacing Dino-Land U.S.A.—that will bring the most biodiverse regions of the planet to your park-hopping adventure. In non-park news, Disney Cruise Line will expand with four new vessels setting sail between 2027 and 2031. The ships will offer 13 different ways to experience top-notch Disney's world-class entertainment.
